CNN Debate SNL Skit

Published by Adam at 4:49 pm under Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Humor, The Media, Video

I wasn’t a huge fan of the way Barack Obama was portrayed last night on Saturday Night Live–that definitely missed the mark. Although the guy actually looked like him (although he was white). Amy Poehler’s Hillary Clinton was pretty funny, however, even if her portrayal wasn’t all that accurate. The media obsession with BHO was funny, too. Could have done without Obama girl, though. Hey, SNL will have the next eight years to get Obama right. We’ll give them a pass on this one. Enjoy!

(By the way, Mike Huckabee was also pretty funny during his appearance last night if you missed it. Totally disagree with his views, but Mike is a pretty good guy. It’s easy to see why Republicans would reject smug ol’ Johnny for him.)

I thought Tina Fey’s endorsement was a little much. Don’t shove it down our throats, and please don’t directly tell us Texans “it’s not too late.” We know who we want to vote for and we don’t need you telling us how much you love her. A brief little mention would have been acceptable, but damn, not 2 whole minutes of you slobbering over her. There’s a time and place. A late-night comedy sketch show is for just that, comedy sketches, not your feminist opinion.

Did you see Hillary Clinton today mock Obama (as well as his supporters)? I can’t believe I was feeling sorry for this absolute bitch of a person.

I used to have the hots for sneaky-hot Tina Fey. Now I think she’s a lesbian :) Oh well…. Yes, it definitely was a bit heavy handed, and I wasn’t very happy. Good thing nobody really watches any more.
