Video: Richardson Endorses Obama

I’ve taken a little political vacay with Pennsylvania so far away and all the B.S. Pastor Wright-based mudslinging going on, so sorry this is a bit late. Could this be a sign of things to come? Does anybody else smell a possible Barack-Bill ticket? No, not that slimeball–Bill Richardson. Solid foreign policy experience, executive experience, Latino support, age, political experience, etc…works for me.

An Obama-Richardson Ticket?

Barack and Bill (Barack and Bill)

Since it is looking more and more like Barack Obama is the presumptive nominee (don’t worry — we won’t stop our fight against the Clintons until they are done), I wanted to toss the idea of a Barack Obama-Bill Richardson ticket out there. Bill Richardson has a girth of experience, and would help Obama foriegn policy-wise and with Latinos in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, New York and Texas.

Yes, I understand that it is a Black-Hispanic pairing, but I think that they both transcend race. I also think that our country has moved past color when it comes to politics in most parts of the country. Both men were born here and are great Americans who have dedicated their lives to serving this country. I honestly think that they will not only be the right ticket for the country during these desperate times, but also for the rest of the world.

What does everyone else think about an Obama-Richardson ticket?

(hat tip: Barack and Bill)

Obamalinks: Things are Lookin’ Good!

  • The L.A. Times makes it’s first presidential endorsement since ‘72 — it’s Obama.
  • The post-Edwards race is a tie, according to Rasmussen.
  • MoveOn.org — which I’m proudly a member of — endrosed its first ever presidential candidate today. Yep, Obama.
  • Bill Richardson didn’t endorse Obama before Super Tuesday, but at least he didn’t endorse Clinton.

E-Mail Gov. Richardson About Endorsing Obama

Click here to e-mail Governor Bill Richardson and ask him to endorse Barack Obama. Richardson is highly respected in the Democratic party, among Latino voters and in the Southwest. His endorsement would be huge. Implore him to endorse the right leader for our party and country moving forward. Enough e-mails — and there already have been quite I few I understand — could potentially make a difference. Just drop him a quick line.
