Reminder: $5.01 Obama “Money Bomb” Tomorrow

Published by Adam under Barack Obama, Fundraising

The Obama Bill

The Ron Paul campaign had amazing success dropping money bombs, so tomorrow we Obamaites will drop one of our own. February 12 is the birthday of another slender Illinois politician who helped rewrite the history books - Abe Lincoln. Then there is the Potomac Primary, where Barack Obama will more likely than not improve his total delegate lead and continue to ride his tidal wive of momentum. Hopefully, tomorrow will also be a big day because progressives will make a bold statement with our support of Obama.

Here’s the concept: Donate $5.01 to the Obama campaign. We will show our support in numbers, because they’ll be able to see how many of these donations come in. For more head over to Daily Kos or go to the Obama website if you are ready to donate.

The Shady Story Of Hillary And Peter Paul

Even I had never really heard too much about this before today, and I thought I was an expert on Clinton sleaze. I guess this is part of the Clinton “dump truck” of dirt Barack Obama referred to yesterday. Definitely worth checking out…

Obamaites Outdo the Clinton’s $5 M in 24 Hours

Bling, bling! Seriously, this is phenomenal. In the 24 hours since the polls closed in California, the Obama campaign will have raised about $6 million and counting. Bill and Hill, that’s us saying that we’re not gonna let you steal or even take this nomination from us. The Obama site was going so crazy that the servers went down temporarily. Remember, nobody can donate more than $2,300 per election, so these numbers are truly amazing. Check out this screenshot…

Bling, Bling (barackobama.com)

Remember, we still have about 90 minutes (10:30 CST) left before the polls have been closed for 24 hours. Who knows what this number could end up being.

Obama on Pace For Another $30 M Month

From Politico:

Barack Obama’s campaign is on track to raise another $30 million in February, sources close to the Illinois senator say, while Hillary Rodham Clinton’s spokesman revealed Wednesday that she had loaned her campaign $5 million.

Insiders in both campaigns say the growing financial disparity virtually ensures that Obama will be able to significantly outspend Clinton in the critical primaries to come.

Hillary has Terry McAuliffe, the world’s best fundraiser, and this is all she can muster? She’s in trouble against what seems like almost unlimited funds right now. Keep donating, everybody. Even if it is just $5-10 bucks a week. We can take this thing.

BREAKING: HRC Loaned $5 M of Her Own to Keep up With Obama

Just heard this on MSNBC. Apparently, Hillary is in more financial trouble fundraising wise than she’s let on. I just don’t think she’ll be able to match us heading forward. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this means she really only raised $8 million last month, compared to Obama’s $32 M. That is a 4-1 advantage. Wow. Obamaites, let’s keep making our small, frequent donations and bury HRC.

15:18:12 Update: Huff Post confirms this.
