Super Twosday: Today Is The Day

Super Twosday (BTTF)

I must admit that even I’ve been suffering from primary fatigue syndrome to some extent over the past week or so. What I did want to pop on and say, however, is that I am pumped that today is finally here.

I’m sick of Hillary Clinton Tracy Flicking it up in the place. Her attitude is like to hell with the Democratic Party and the rules, we made this party and the nomination is mine. She really thinks that she’s earned this nomination, whether because of her bullshit 35 years of fabricated experience or because she suffered through the most famous blowjob in the history of the world. I disagree. I have never believed in the do-your-time, wait-in-line train of thought. Not in the workplace. Not in entertainment. Not in sports. And certainly not in politics. The best person for the job should get the job, whether they have 60 days or 60 years experience. Life isn’t fair–get over it, HRC.

Can’t you just see her pulling a Tracy Flick and ripping down Barack Obama signs in the hallway during a fit of mad rage? Man, I wish I could pull a Mr. M and screw with the ballots. Why? Not because I’m a dishonest person, but because Hillary is really trying to destroy Barack Obama’s chances of winning the general election. In the process, she could destroy the Democratic Party, a party on the verge of a major restoration. I used to respect the Clintons, now I’m getting sick of this bitch, her narcissistic prick of a husband and their disgusting sense of entitlement. I have never seen anyone spin like the Clintons before. Two weeks ago, Ohio and Texas was the impenetrable Clinton firewall. Now, if Obama doesn’t win all four states by a landslide margin he loses because he spent more money? Jibberish.

I’m not the only one who sees what the Clintons are doing either. Why else would that pill-popping, racist, neoconservative nutjob Rush Limbaugh tell voters to vote for Billary? Because he wants the Clintons to bloody up BHO for John McCain. They are scared to death of what will become YouTube vs. feeding tube (thanks, Bill Maher). The GOP wants every advantage they can get, and would prefer not to swiftboat a Black candidate, especially when the candidate’s own party mate is doing that dirty work for them.

Here’s the real question: If the tables were turned and Barack Obama was the one who was going to come out of today trailing by an insurmountable amount of elected delegates, would Obama do what’s right for the Democratic Party and its chances in November and drop out? I believe he would, and that’s all you need to know about Barack and Hillary. The race is “Yes, we can” vs. “Yes, I can.” Let’s finish the Clintons off once and for all today, even if they refuse to drop out.

HUGE Win in Illinois

Barack Obama is going to get a landslide victory in his home state of Illinois. This is big, because they haven’t called New Jersey, essentially an extension of Hillary’s adopted home state of New York. That means it’s at least reasonably close there. She did win Oklahoma, but she’s always been strong there and the Obama camp never focused on the state. The state also has few delegates. The Clintons will spin it as a red state win, but it’s a redneck state win.

The last thing I want to mention is how well Obama did with white males in Georgia — winning 43%. This is a marked improvement over his performance in South Carolina. It shows that he is doing well with ex-Edwards supporters and doing better with white voters in the South. Both are good omens.

Thank You, John!

I just wanted to pay tribute to a true patriot, who’s been a champion for the little guys all his career. I truly appreciate the way John Edwards ran his campaign, and presented both Democrats and Americans with another strong alternative to the divisive politics of the Clintons.

John and Elizabeth

Here is Barack Obama’s official thank you to Edwards:

John Edwards has spent a lifetime fighting to give voice to the voiceless and hope to the struggling, even when it wasn’t popular to do or covered in the news. At a time when our politics is too focused on who’s up and who’s down, he made a nation focus again on who matters – the New Orleans child without a home, the West Virginia miner without a job, the families who live in that other America that is not seen or heard or talked about by our leaders in Washington. John and Elizabeth Edwards have always believed deeply that we can change this – that two Americas can become one, and that our country can rally around this common purpose. So while his campaign may end today, the cause of their lives endures for all of us who still believe that we can achieve that dream of one America.

Bad Call, John… But Nice Hair

Published by Adam under Iraq, John Edwards, Speeches

Is the judgement Hillary Clinton and John Edwards displayed in 2002 what we want BACK in the White House? Sometimes it seems like it…

Why John Edwards Needs to Stay in the Race

A new Bloomberg/L.A. Times California poll reflects what I’ve been saying all along — John Edwards can only help Barack Oabama.

Former North Carolina Senator John Edwards, 54, trails well behind Obama and Clinton, pulling in 11 percent support. If Edwards were to drop out, more of his backers may head to Clinton than Obama, the poll shows.

I expect Edwards to do much better in South Carolina and stay in the race at least through Super Duper Tuesday, which is good news. The other good news is what was a 24-percent lead for Hillary Clinton a month ago is now down to nine points. That number will continue to shrink if Obama has a strong showing in South Carolina.

Bill Clinton: Hillary’s Hitman

Hitman (Kill Hill)

Bill Clinton isn’t as sly as he thinks he is.

(By the way, how could someone who’s been linked to as many affairs as he’s been — Gennifer Flowers, Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Wiley, Monica Lewinsky and Paula Jones, at least — ever really think they’re sly? I’m just asking.)

It isn’t just Dick Morris, a former Clinton strategist, that sees what Bill’s doing. We all see it. Iowa threatened his precious “Clinton Restoration” dream down to its very core, scared the Lewinsky out of him. That’s why he came out guns a’ blazing as Hillary’s hitman during the days leading up to the New Hampshire primary, and has played that same role ever since.

The Clinton camp thinks this strategy it’s working, but it’s not. They fooled us twice already, but this time it isn’t going to work. You see, Slick Willy is serving as a similar diversion to the one that his wife provided him in 1992. Bill thinks that if all of Barack Obama’s focus is on him that not only will it not be on Obama’s inspirational message, but the heat will also be off of Hill. I’ll give him some credit — it worked for a little while.

But Bill’s political thug tactics aren’t working any more.

Why not? There are several reasons.
